Appointments and Walk-In Assistance
To meet with an ISS advisor, you must have a previously scheduled appointment. Appointments can be scheduled by calling our office or through iAdvise. You may also contact your advisor by email with questions or for assistance.
Walk-ins are welcome during business hours for general questions and front-desk assistance. Walk-in students cannot meet with an advisor without a previously scheduled appointment.
To schedule an appointment through iAdvise, log in at iadvise.ou.edu/iss and select your advisor. You will see your advisor’s available appointment times and can choose whether to meet in person, by phone, or through Zoom.
When you arrive for a scheduled in-person appointment, please check in at the front desk.
Business Hours
Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The ISS office is closed on weekends and university-observed holidays.

Document Processing Time
The normal document processing time for all student requests is 5-10 business (working) days*.
*Note: Newly admitted students have a 2 day delay before processing can begin.
Travel Signatures
Drop off your I-20 or DS-2019 during our office hours or request a Replacement I-20/DS-2019 for travel in the Forms section. Travel signatures are processed within our normal processing time, except in true emergency situations.
