Beginning Fall 2023:
In order to provide you with high quality education and prevention programming, we have decided to implement a fee for any presentations or partnerships scheduled outside of regular business hours. This fee will help us cover the additional costs associated with health promotion programming.

Alcohol Education | This program is designed to inform OU students of university alcohol policy, applied scenarios that students may encounter, and alcohol and other drugs statistics so they make informed, healthy choices. Even if you do not personally drink or consume other drugs you need to know university policy and how to help others. |
General Health Information | Want to know more about OU Health Services at Goddard Health Center? This presentation goes through each of our departments and FAQs to make your visits and access to healthcare easier and more comfortable. |
Generation RX | The Generation Rx University resources were created by college students, for college students, to help prevent prescription drug misuse on college campuses. |
Nutrition + Healthy Eating with registered dietitian | Healthy eating in college can be difficult. Our Registered Dietitian Nutritionist will tackle a variety of areas such as eating healthy on a budget, eating regularly, healthy fast food choices, basic tips for selecting nutritious meals, and more! Menstrual Health | This is a super fun one-hour educational workshop. The workshop covers the basics of the menstrual cycle, menstrual disorders, menstrual hygiene options, the benefits of reusable menstrual products, and product distribution. Workshops are open to everyone and anyone regardless of age, sex, gender, or menstruating status. We ask that any organization or department requesting this presentation to please consider donating menstrual products to the OU Food Pantry. |
Sexual Health (Sexperts) | "Sexperts" are safer sex peer educators who facilitate a one-hour presentation for residence halls, classrooms, and student organizations. The presentation covers safer sex practices, STI, HIV, pregnancy prevention, and healthcare access facts in a game-show style format. |
Sleep Talk | Getting enough sleep with a demanding college schedule is difficult. But what about getting high quality sleep? In this presentation, we talk about the importance of sleep, the impacts of sleep deprivation on our bodies and minds, circadian rhythms, and sleep hygiene. |
Stress Management + Coping | Almost half of college students on our campus and nationwide report stress as a top academic impact (NCHA, 2022). It's no suprise that this is our most popular presentation. During this 45 minute presentation, we talk about the effects of stress, coping strategies, and supporting others when they are stressed. |
