Eric Bosse was Senior Lecturer in Expository Writing at the University of Oklahoma, where he taught for eighteen years. He also served as Visiting Creative Writer for one year in the OU English Department and has led three summer programs abroad for OU, twice in Ireland and once for the Journey to Italy program. From 2014 to 2018, Professor Bosse served as Couch Center's Faculty in Residence. He co-founded and has served as faculty adviser for OU Write Club since 2010. And he is an affiliated faculty member with OU WGS, where he served on the Social Justice Advisory Board from 2012 to 2015 and again since 2024. He has published more than sixty short stories and flash fictions in magazines, journals, and anthologies, as well as several poems and personal essays. His short story collection, Magnificent Mistakes, was published by Ravenna Press in 2011, and his flash fiction chapbook, The Last Few Minutes Before the Bomb, followed in 2013. He received OU's Robert D. Lemon Social Justice Award in 2017. Eric Bosse joined the Honors College in fall 2025.
