The Honors Mentorship Program helps incoming Honors College freshmen adjust to university life, learn about activities and network with fellow Honors students. Freshmen are matched with Honors College upperclassmen based on majors and/or interests. Mentors meet with their mentees every two weeks and are available to answer questions and provide guidance. In addition, the HMP holds four program-wide events each semester to give mentors and mentees more more opportunities to network. The Honors Mentorship Program is a Registered Student Organization.

HSA provides a forum for academic discussion and information about scholarships. Every OU Honors College student is automatically a member of the HSA. The title of "Active Member" is reserved for students who attend three meetings or events each semester. Active Members may run for leadership positions in the spring. The Honors Student Association is a Registered Student Organization.

Do you love to read? Do you want to improve your communication skills? The Honors College sponsors a program of Webster Book Clubs, often moderated by a fellow student. Selected books cover a wide range of topics. To participate, students commit to read the book and to participate in weekly discussion groups. Books are provided at no cost. The WBCs are sponsored by the Honors College but any OU student is welcome to attend.
Honors Outdoor Adventure is a club for all things outdoors! Their focus is building Honors community, enjoying and caring for the outdoors, and educating and training students on responsible outdoor recreation. Throughout the fall semester, they host day hikes, weekend camping trips, and other outdoorsy events. In the spring, members attend weekly meetings to train as Guides, learning outdoors skills and safety and preparing to lead OA trips (and their own adventures!) in the future.
OA welcomes people of all skill levels! Whether you've been backpacking your whole life or you've never touched grass, they'd love to help give you more opportunities to get outdoors!
