ICAST Research Fellow Opportunities

Overview

The Institute for Community and Society Transformation (ICAST) is launching a Faculty Fellows program to build research and scholarship capacity to support ICAST’s mission. For the upcoming fiscal year, ICAST will support two faculty fellows.

Understanding and addressing challenges in education, technology, social justice, health, and the workplace, in partnership with Native Nations and other community partners, is a vital part of forging new pathways toward positive societal change in local, regional, and global communities. ICAST aims to:

  • Understand drivers of education and health disparities and identify new paths for supporting education and health in a wide variety of communities.
  • Identify technology threats and opportunities as they relate to human health and well-being to inform technology design, development, and policy.
  • Work with Native Nations to support their sovereignty and cultures.
