The OU Office of Institutional Research & Reporting supports your data needs and helps you understand and utilize university data effectively.
While you are considering your data request, please make sure to review our Static Reports and Power BI dashboards, as your information may already be available. If you have a question about our reports or need specific data, please email us at IRR@ou.edu.
In your email, please include: your name, university email, campus (Norman, HC, or Tulsa), purpose of the request, type of data needed, academic term(s), and any important deadlines. For complex or unclear requests, IRR may contact you to schedule a brief meeting to ensure accurate data delivery.
Most requests are typically answered within 2-5 business days based on complexity; response times may be longer during high demand periods.
Data Use & Privacy: To protect student and employee privacy, some requests may require additional clarification, and certain data may be provided only in aggregate or de-identified form. All data requests must comply with FERPA, university data governance policies, and security standards. Data may not be shared externally or repurposed without appropriate approval.
