The MPGE Technical Seminar Series is our graduate-level seminar program aimed at giving students exposure to current research, industry trends, and new technologies in petroleum engineering, as well as adjacent fields like geothermal energy, hydrogen, and carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS). These seminars provide opportunities for students to engage with leading professors and industry experts, deepen their technical knowledge, and support their professional development as they prepare for future careers.
MPGE technical seminar series hosts experts from academia or industry who give presentations and discussions focused on technical topics in petroleum engineering or emerging energy technologies. The series empowers attendees with new knowledge, networking opportunities, skill development, and academic career advancement.
The MPGE Technical Seminar Series will be held every other Friday during the fall and spring semesters at 2:30 p.m. in Room SEC1410, unless otherwise noted.
