Dear OU Moms,

On behalf of the students of the University of Oklahoma, the Campus Activities Council, and the OU Parents’ Association, I am delighted to invite you and your family to join us for the 77th annual Mom’s Day Weekend. We want this to be a special time of tribute to all OU moms for the hard work and endless support they have given to their Sooner children. This year, we hope to put these amazing women into the spotlight they deserve. Mom’s Weekend has been bringing OU faculty, students, and families closer together since 1929, and I guarantee that this year will be no exception.

The weekend kicks off with “Take Mom to Class Day” on Friday, March 31. This is a great day to experience first-hand what a typical day is like for your student, and a great opportunity to hear from some of OU’s exceptional professors. If you and your Sooner get hungry, don’t forget to stop by Bizzell Statute for some free refreshments and giveaways or stop by the “How To” workshops located around campus to learn some of our favorite activities from the 50’s, 60’s, and 70’s. Friday night, stop by the Walker-Adams Mall for free food and entertainment as we pay tribute to moms 70’s style! On Saturday, April 1, come to the Stadium Club at the Oklahoma Memorial Stadium for “Mom’s Day Out”, which includes a brunch, fashion show, craft fair, and music, all in classic 1940’s style. Make sure to check out Sooner Scandals throughout the weekend where OU students showcase their singing and acting at Holmberg Hall.
