NORMAN, Okla. – In just his second season of producing Broadway shows, University of Oklahoma alumnus Cory Lloyd is celebrating major success at the 79th annual Tony Awards. Lloyd, managing partner of Lloyd Tichio Productions, had five productions nominated this year for a combined 27 honors across multiple categories.
Among the productions Lloyd had a hand in producing was the acclaimed production “Death of a Salesman,” which earned a total of six Tony Awards, including Best Revival of a Play, Best Scenic Design of a Play and Best Direction of a Play, becoming the most-awarded play revival in Tony’s history. Lloyd’s other nominated productions included the reimagining of “Cats: The Jellicle Ball,” which took home three Tony awards, historical drama “Joe Turner’s Come and Gone,” and “Waiting for Godot.”
Lloyd earned his first Tony nomination last year for “Operation Mincemeat.” He has performed in several high-profile productions, including “Grease,” “Hairspray,” as well as Disney’s “Tarzan” and “Mama Mia!”

Over the course of a year, 64 students from OU’s architecture, interior design, planning and sustainable energy programs worked alongside faculty to develop planning and design recommendations for veterans’ homes in Ardmore, Claremore and Sulphur. The work could help guide future renovations, improve residents’ quality of life and support future funding requests.

Her laboratory experiments have been convincing, and now she has preliminary human data to support the theory.
Mulugeta Gebregziabher, Ph.D., a nationally and internationally recognized public health leader, researcher and educator, has been named a professor and the endowed chair of the Department of Biostatistics and Epidemiology at the University of Oklahoma Hudson College of Public Health.
