Two Projects Receive Seed Funding for DoD Supply Chain Research

The Data Institute for Societal Challenges and the Oklahoma Aerospace and Defense Innovation Institute have awarded $40,000 in seed funding to two research teams. The projects are researching innovations for the supply chain needs of the Department of Defense.

The projects are:

• “Enhancing DoD Vaccine Innovation and Supply for Warfighters and Biodefense,” led by Myongjin Kim, Department of Economics, OU Norman, and Junying Zhao, Department of Health Administration & Policy, OUHSC

• “Securing Critical Networks from Weaponized Disinformation Attacks: Initial Surveys,” led by Kash Barker and Andrés González, School of Industrial and Systems Engineering, Elena Bessarabova, Department of Communication, and Sridhar Radhakrishnan, School of Computer Science
