Welcome to New Student Programs

The mission of New Student Programs is to ensure a seamless transition process for both incoming undergraduate students and high school students enrolled in Concurrent Enrollment  to the University of Oklahoma. In collaboration with departments across campus, New Student Programs will welcome new students to the OU community and connect them to resources, provide opportunities to find community among their peers, and equip students with tools to be successful throughout their time on campus and beyond.

New Sooner Orientation is the first step in the orientation process for every new student's successful transition to OU. Students will learn more about resources at OU and have the opportunity to meet with an academic advisor and enroll in courses. Through Concurrent Enrollment (CE), high school juniors and seniors can enroll in college classes and earn college credit while still in high school. Choosing CE allows you to explore areas of academic interest, challenge yourself and gain valuable experiences and college credit before you graduate from high school.
