Simulated phishing and integrated training are not available in OnPoint. KnowBe4 provides simulated phishing emails to users and assigns short, interactive, online training to at-risk users that click on simulated phishing links or open malicious attachments. Users that pass the phishing tests are not assigned this same training. This programming provides just-in-time training to users that need it the most to help them avoid real phishing attacks. We call this the Smart Phishing and Training Program.

This combination of phishing and training, on a frequent basis, reinforces learning and results in a long term change in behavior that reduces risky email behavior to protect the user and the University from cyberattacks. See the "Phish Prone Improvement for OUHSC", below.

KnowBe4 also tracks security behavior through phish-prone metrics at the enterprise level to measure OU's program compared with other large educational institution baselines. Additional features are available, such as the Phish Alert add-on to MS Office and mobile devices, customized reporting, and other features that are not available with OnPoint.

From Jul 1, 2019 to Oct 1, 2020 the phish prone results of simulated phishing tests decreased from 13.9% to 2.5%.
