As members of the President's Leadership Class, first-year PLCers and PLC student alumni have the opportunity to participate in a special study abroad programs.
This journey begins at our sister campus in the Tuscan countryside of Arezzo and includes day trips to Florence and Sienna before concluding in Rome. Along the way, PLCers have a unique chance to learn the ins and outs of art history at some of the finest museums in the world and meet with community groups to learn firsthand about international leadership and activism. Scholarship opportunities are available for interested students thanks to our generous network of PLC alumni.
PLC student alumni have the opportunity to participate in a unique study abroad program that takes place during the spring intersession. For each trip, a new destination is chosen for the PLC alumni study abroad trips, and University of Oklahoma faculty members lead the trip. Previous destinations have included Ireland, a European tour, Rio de Janeiro, and Germany/Switzerland.
