Alumni Advisory Board Member

Nancy Kowalski

J.C. is the Executive Vice President of Operations for 2 Hour Learning and Alpha School, where he builds and runs the world’s most effective school system, completely revolutionizing the way we educate future generations.

Prior to joining Alpha School, J.C. was an Associate Partner with McKinsey & Company, where he served as an operations and negotiations expert working with clients to solve their most challenging problems across an array of industries, with a focus on national defense agencies within the public sector.

J.C. earned his JD from Stanford Law School and his MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business after obtaining his Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies and Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Oklahoma.

He is married to Andi Fischer (also an OU and JCPenney alum), and has two children: Cato and Diana. J.C. loves to shoot hoops and play pickup ball, golfs every weekend (often with Andi!), and cooks often, especially after building an outdoor kitchen and smoker setup from scratch for their home.
