Finding Carts and Orders

Once a shopping cart has gone through the PeopleSoft approval process and has been sent to the supplier, users can often check the status of the order to check for delivery updates, initiate returns, etc.

When a PO is sent to a supplier, the Shopper and Requester both get an email with the PO number. This number is preceded by either NORMN or OUHSC and is a 10-digit number.

  1. If the PO number cannot be located, you can view all POs that are created from Carts you've submitted by navigating to Orders > My Orders > My Purchase Orders.

  2. The process for checking order status varies by vendor. But for the larger vendors such as Staples or Dell, you can take the number and campus code (eg. NORMN0123456789) and check the status of your order.
