John Wisniewski, Ph.D., a Presidential Professor in the Department of Physics and Astronomy, Dodge Family College of Arts and Sciences, has been selected by NASA’s Director of the Astrophysics Division Paul Hertz, Ph.D., to a three-year term on the executive committee of the Exoplanet Exploration Program Analysis Group (ExoPAG).

“ExoPAG is the exoplanet community's advisory group with NASA and helps to provide guidance on how to enact NASA’s exoplanet science objectives,” said Wisniewski. “The executive committee helps to coordinate efforts between the exoplanet community and NASA; having OU representation on this national committee is a reflection of the strength of our astrophysics program here at OU.”

Wisniewski will be officially inducted to the executive committee during the group’s next virtual meeting planned for May 18, 2022.
