OU works with Lewis-Burke Associates to execute a strategic vision for growing research and creative activities. Grounded in the OU Strategic Plan, the research areas will convene and support researchers in four strategic verticals: Aerospace, Defense, and Global Security; Energy, Environment, and Sustainability; Society and Community Transformation; and the Future of Health. Researchers will also be engaged in cross-cutting efforts such as the Data Science Institute for Societal Challenges (DISC).
