Officers

Roman Voronov was born in Moscow, Russia in 1980. Due to family circumstances he immigrated to Norman, Oklahoma in 1993 where he graduated from Norman High School North in 1998 and was a State Qualifying competitive swimmer.

In 2003 Roman graduated from OU with a Summa Cum Laude BS in Chemical Engineering and a Physics Minor. He later received a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, also at the University of Oklahoma.

Afterwards, Roman began his Ph.D. at the University of Texas - Austin, but had to return to OU due to family circumstances, where he is now pursuing a doctoral degree in his field of study of High Performance Computer Modeling in Bone Tissue Engineering.

Ms. Anna Klyueva received her Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Khujand State University, Tajikistan, in 2000. After successful completion of her degree Ms. Klyueva began working in various media, and contributed to the establishment of the first independent FM radio station in Tajikistan. She obtained various government awards, including government recognition for the work reflecting the life of youth in mass media.

Later Anna worked for the Mercy Corps project in Central Asia, funded by USAID. Before coming to OU, Ms. Klyueva worked for Ural Airlines in Russia where she was involved in the company’s rebranding process. Ms. Klyueva began her studies at the University of Oklahoma in fall 2006 pursuing Master’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communication. Here she became a member of the PRSSA, and helped to organize state-wide PR contest “Zenith Awards”. She joined RuSSA during her first semester at OU, and immediately loved it!

Katerina Tsetsura (Ph.D., Purdue, 2004) is an assistant professor in the Gaylord College of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Oklahoma.

As an OU faculty advisor for RUSSA, Dr. Katerina Tsetsura is very happy to have an opportunity to share her culture with students, faculty, staff, and members of Norman community and motivate others to cherish and share their cultures. She is an active cultural speaker and ambassador. She shares her Russian culture through speaking engagements and traditional songs and dances with many local community groups in Kansas and Indiana , including numerous Rotary Clubs.

Dr. Tsetsura is an active researcher in the field of interantional public relations. She is the author and co-author of numerous book chapters and is one of the leading researchers on the landmark international project “The international index of bribery in the media,” supported by the Institute for Public Relations(USA), the International Public Relations Association and the International Press Institute.

Faculty Advisor

Maxim Moskalkov was born in Mogilev (Belarus) in 1982. He received an undergraduate degree in history, graduating with honors from Mogilev State University in 2005. As an undergraduate, he worked in the field of Belorussian mass media. He was an editor of the independent public newspaper "De facto", was involved in public activities, and participated in different elections. Maxim headed Mogilev Regional Board of the Republican Public Youth Organization "Civil Forum". He was awarded the Edmund S. Muskie Fellowship by the United States Department of State in 2007 and began graduate studies at the University of Oklahoma. He joined RuSSA during his first semester at OU and became actively participate in all RuSSA activities. In April 2008 he was elected as a new RuSSA president.
