Peace. We derive all else from this. We define peace as the cooperation of nations in applying non-violent solutions to potential and existing conflicts and facilitating diplomatic options through international bodies. We seek an end to global terrorism and a solution that addresses the roots of terrorism. We also seek an end to war and a solution that eliminates the need for war. War and terrorism often strengthen one another, and we believe that a solution which confronts one must also confront the other. Furthermore, we believe that every nation and all peoples should be spared the terror brought about by the pursuit and use of weapons of mass destruction. Because our country is a global leader, we believe the United States of America should take the initiative in ensuring that disarmament is accomplished by peaceful means, working with the United Nations rather than misusing it. We believe the United States should act as a good neighbor in the global community, inspiring others to do the same through its actions. We, as an organization, seek to realize this vision through dialogue and education in the community.
