The relationships with staff, faculty, and students. Being able to see them start and go after a goal then being here when they achieve it.
Being able to be a voice for coworkers who are not able to serve in this type of role for one reason or another.

Spending time with my family camping at the lake, on our boat wakeboarding and tubing. Helping coach my children's baseball, softball, and football teams. Outreach for SBME.
I have two long haired dachshunds. Cache(cash) is a 21-year-old English creme long hair, and Hank is a 1-year-old black and tan long hair. Both love running and playing and spending time at the lake with us.
Favorite sport is baseball/softball as it is the sport my children play most, and my older adult children all played at a high level.
This I am not certain on as I am still fairly new in my role and with the University. One thing I would like to see is more department events and more events where staff. faculty, and students are able to engage with each other about current issues, events, and ideas. I believe that helps the moral around each department ad something I have pushed for and helped lead here at SBME.
The engineering quad courtyard is peaceful and a great place to sit and relax outside.
