Assessment and Planning


Student Affairs Assessment & Planning provides strategic guidance, professional development opportunities, meaningful assessment practices, and data storytelling tools to align co-curricular programs with institutional goals and demonstrate their impact on student learning and success.

KEY SERVICES

The Office of Student Affairs Assessment & Planning provides three core services to strengthen a culture of intentional, data-informed practice across the Division:

Departmental Support

The office partners with Student Affairs departments to enhance their planning, assessment, and evaluation efforts — offering consultation and support in areas such as strategic planning, assessment design, annual reporting, data management, and more.

Capacity Building

The office helps develop staff capacity through facilitating professional development opportunities and providing tools around assessment, empowering Student Affairs departments to confidently lead their own assessment efforts.

Assessment Storytelling

The office supports the Division of Student Affairs in telling impactful, data-informed stories that highlight the value of co-curricular learning. This includes creating visual reports, dashboards, and narrative summaries for projects grounded in assessment.
