Training Series (Coming Soon)

This training session is designed to introduce university community members to the Spectrum of Resolution Options Model that was introduced to the higher education community through the Reframing Campus Conflict Publication (Schrage and Giacomini). Presenters during this session will:

  • Introduce the Spectrum of Resolution Options model and each of its components
  • Identify how the model fits within the University of Oklahoma’s Student Rights, and Responsibilities Code


 This training session is designed to provide university community members with foundational knowledge of Restorative Justice and its corresponding practices. Presenters during this training will: 

  • Identify foundational principles of restorative justice
  • Identify and define the steps of the restorative justice process.
  • Understand the impact of restorative justice in the healing process.


This training session is for university community members who wish to build on their baseline knowledge of Restorative Justice/Practices. While RJ is primarily utilized in student conduct processes, this session is designed remove Restorative Justice from the “student conduct box” and widening it’s practices community wide.

Presenters during this session will:

  • Identify ways that RJ can be utilized in various ways to resolve conflict throughout the university community

This training session will on focus on providing guidance on the art of facilitating difficult conversation. Presenters during this session will:

  • Provide an overview of the various forms of Conflict
  • Discuss the three conversations within a Difficult Conversation
  • Identify ways to utilize the spectrum of resolutions model to navigate difficult conversations

This training session will focus on the various styles of responding to conflict. Presenters during this session will help participants:

  • Identify the different conflict styles
  • Understand their personal conflict style
  • Identify the conflict styles of others
