SLS is a single-employee office. If you are unable to reach Mrs. Langford during regular business hours, she is likely with another client, serving the needs of the program elsewhere on campus, or working remotely. Please send an email to sls@ou.edu or call the office at 405-325-6875 and leave a voicemail and she will respond as quickly as possible.

Outside of regular business hours (nights, weekends, and holidays), please connect with the office by email or leave a message on our voicemail. Both phone and email are monitored frequently, even when the office is closed.

SLS Confidentiality

The Student Legal Services’ attorney is one of very few staff members on campus who is not a mandatory reporter. When you complete and submit your Intake and Consent form, your limited attorney-client relationship with SLS is established, and your communications are protected by confidentiality and privilege (there are very rare and limited exceptions at law as to when an attorney can break client confidentiality, but otherwise unless you provide a written authorization, your case will not be discussed with anyone outside of SLS).

Please note that SLS staff cannot guarantee the security of information sent via the internet or by email on the University servers.

Until the signed and completed form is on-file with the SLS office, no services may be provided, including the initial consultation.
