OU-Tulsa to Host In-person Convocation Ceremony for Spring 2021

OU-Tulsa will host an  in-person Convocation Ceremony on Tuesday, May 11th at 7 p.m. at the Mabee Center at 81st and South Lewis Ave. Graduates and faculty should arrive at 6 pm. 

Graduating students will participate in the ceremony, have their name called, and walk across the stage to receive their diploma. Graduates from Fall 2020, Spring 2021, and Summer 2021 are all invited to participate.  Additionally, fall 2019 and spring and summer 2020 graduates will also be invited, as their ceremonies were cancelled last spring. 

The Mabee Center, located at 81st & Lewis Ave. on the ORU campus in Tulsa, will provide a venue for our ceremony that will allow for COVID-19 precautions, including:

  • Social distancing will be observed throughout the facility, with the exception of graduates’ guests which will sit in clusters 
  • Masks will be required at all times by graduates, guests, faculty, and administration
  • Attendance will be limited to four guests per graduate; tickets will be required for entry
