Incoming Transfer Students

Congratulations on your admission and welcome to the OU family!

Below you'll find your next steps to complete prior to beginning classes in the OU Polytechnic Institute at OU-Tulsa. 

#1 Set Up Your OU Account & Email

If you haven't done so already, activate your official OU account! You'll use your account to access your OU email, enroll in classes, view grades, and so much more! To set up your OU account, visit one.ou.edu/activate. You'll also need your OU Net ID.

Take a moment to save this ID along with your new password. This will be your login information to access all things OU!

Once your account is set up, you can log into one.ou.edu to view your unofficial transcript and see how your classes transferred to OU. Your academic advisor can answer any questions about your transfer credit when you meet with them.

#2 Complete The Transfer Commitment Form

Save your spot in the inaugural OU Polytechnic Institute class by completing OUPI’s transfer commitment form. Please note that step #1 must be completed before you can proceed to the transfer commitment form.

#3 Schedule Your Advising Appointment

To set up your advising appointment, email oupiadvising@ou.edu.

#4 Send Your Final Transcripts

Official transcripts must be sent directly from your prior institution and can be sent electronically to oardocuments@ou.edu or by mail at the address below.

POST-ADMISSION CHECKLIST

We are looking forward to having you as an OUPI student. Here are the things you must do to join the OUPI family:

Visit outlook.office.com/ou.edu to check your OU email.  Many OU Departments will only communicate with you via this email address, so it is important that you check it regularly.  This is where you will be notified about financial aid.

All OU Students are required to successfully complete the mandatory online training listed at onpoint.ou.edu.  Learn more at ou.edu/eoo

You must submit a Certification of Compliance that states you are aware of the state of Oklahoma’s immunization requirements, which are outlined in the Certification. Complete this at immunization.ou.edu.

Official transcripts must be sent directly from your prior institution and can be sent electronically to oardocuments@ou.edu or by mail at the address below.  Transcripts submitted directly from a student to oardocuments@ou.edu will not be accepted.

Your Sooner Card serves as your student ID.  Visit the Student Enrollment Center, located on the 1st floor, Corridor C, Room 114.  There is a $15 charge for your sooner card.  Cash or check only accepted.
