Sooner Saturday
Mark your calendars for Sooner Saturday on April 27, 2019, OU’s biggest open house of the year! Your students will have the chance to meet their fellow high school juniors and prospective transfer students from across the country and explore OU’s beautiful campus and all the resources and opportunities that the university has to offer them. When they register for this free event, they will build their own schedule so that they can tailor their day to their unique interests. They will have the option to meet with faculty within their preferred academic colleges, attend informational meetings, tour facilities such as the residential halls and residential colleges, and eat at Couch Restaurants, where they will have 14 different dining options to choose from. Sooner Saturday is the perfect weekend for their college visit to learn all about what it means to be a Sooner!
High School Leadership Conference
In addition, your students should consider attending the High School Leadership Conference, a three-day adventure into leadership for high school juniors from across the state of Oklahoma and from surrounding states. HSLC's mission is to equip, empower and inspire high school students to realize their leadership potential and make a meaningful impact on those around them. Students will leave HSLC with characteristics that help them become more caring, capable, and efficient leaders for the rest of their lives. HSLC will be held on OU’s Norman campus on February 15-17, 2019!
