Accessibility and Special Populations

Our team understands each student has unique opportunities and challenges in the job or internship search. We hope to provide every student at the University of Oklahoma with the care, advice, and support they deserve. Find some resources below for a variety of populations that make up the Sooner Family.

ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT

The OU Career Center is committed to accommodating the needs of the student body. If you or someone you know requires accommodation for a disability in order to fully access the format, materials, or presentation of our resources, please reach out to us at careercenter@ou.edu so we can explore potential options. Students with disabilities may also wish to work with the Accessibility and Disability Resource Center to discuss a range of options for removing potential barriers at the Career Center, including official accommodations.

For students without access to technology (personal computer, lack of bandwidth, etc.), the Career Center is able to accommodate certain needs in person. Appointments can be made over the phone by calling (405) 325-1974. If you don't have access to a personal computer, we are able to meet with students in-person in a safe, socially distanced environment at the Oklahoma Memorial Union.

For students in need of a place to conduct a virtual interview, our Virtual Interview room is open and available for students as a safe and quiet place to conduct a virtual interview without the need of a personal computer.

If you are not able to meet with an advisor during normal drop-in hours, please reach out to us by phone or email at oucs@ou.edu to schedule an appointment during a time that works for you.
