Peter McLaughlin

Peter McLaughlin is a political science Ph.D. candidate and graduate fellow with the Carl Albert Congressional Research and Studies Center at the University of Oklahoma. His research agenda focuses on the United States Congress, particularly relating to distributive politics, congressional committees and constituent communication.

Peter previously earned a B.A. in Government and International Studies from Dartmouth College in 2016 and a M.P.A. from Drake University in 2019. From June of 2016 to December of 2018, he served as the research director for Vote Smart, a nationwide voter education nonprofit.
