Welcome to Cleveland Area Rapid Transit:

Serving Norman, Oklahoma, since 1980

Cleveland Area Rapid Transit (CART) transports more than 1 million passengers annually on the fixed-route bus system. CART buses run seven Norman city routes and three University of Oklahoma campus routes on weekdays and most Saturdays. CART also operates a commuter route, the Sooner Express, to Oklahoma City Monday through Friday.

CART also operates a paratransit service, CARTaccess, for the elderly, disabled, and those unable to ride the fixed-route bus system.

Turn Up For Transit!

All about transportation

The OU Student Government Association has invited CART to participate in Turn Up For Transit on Oct. 29 on the north end of South Oval and Oct. 30 on the lower level of the Student Union. Come out to receive information about all forms of transit from buses to bicycles. Representatives from CART will be on hand to answer questions about transportation on campus and around Norman.

Game day shuttles

Football season is underway at the University of Oklahoma and CART is ready to take you to the game! Just park for free at the Lloyd Noble Center and take a CART shuttle for $3 round trip to the stadium. Shuttles begin running three hours before the game and for at least an hour after each game.
