JRCoE Faculty and Staff Honored

Three Jeannine Rainbolt College of Education faculty members were honored at the OU Faculty Awards ceremony in April.

 

Curt Adams, Ph.D. was presented the Henry Daniel Rinsland Memorial Award for Excellence in Educational Research. Adams is an associate professor of educational administration, curriculum and supervision and co-chair of the Oklahoma Center for Education Policy at OU-Tulsa.

Kirsten Edwards Williams, Ph.D. was awarded the Linda Clarke Anderson Presidential Professorship. Williams is an associate professor of adult and higher education in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies..

 


The Huddleston Presidential Professorship was awarded to Vickie Lake, Ph.D. Lake is associate dean and professor of early childhood education at OU-Tulsa.

 


In addition, Philip Johnson received the Provost’s Outstanding Academic Advising Award and a Distinguished Performance Award at the OU Staff Senate Awards Ceremony in April. Johnson is the lead adviser in the JRCoE undergraduate advising office and has been with the college since 2014.
