College hosts free seminars for Early Career Educators
The College will host four specialized seminars in early 2015 just for teachers beginning their careers.
The next seminar is Saturday, March 7
All sessions are 9:30 am to 12:00 noon in Ellsworth Collings Hall room 250 on the OU campus.

JRCoE Endowed Lectureship Series - March 24 Town Hall
Michael Omi, Assoc. Prof., Asian American Studies - UC-Berkley
You are invited to attend the lecture entitled: "Who Are We? Racial Formation in the United States" presented by Michael Omi. Professor Omi explores how the dominant ideology of colorblindness exhorts us to "get beyond race," but we continue to grapple with issues of how, when, where and why individuals are racially classified. The presentation will be from 5:30pm to 7:30pm on Tuesday, March 24 in the Ethics and Excellence in Journalism Foundation auditorium (Room 1140) in Gaylord College of Journalism, 395 West Lindsey St., Norman.
