Educational Leadership and Policy Studies doctoral student Jasmine Henry received two OU campus awards: 2022 Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Champion Award for Outstanding Staff and the Women’s and Gender Studies Center for Social Justice Robert D. Lemon Social Justice Award.
The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Champion Award aims at recognizing and celebrating staff members who have demonstrated a commitment to promoting novel or creative DEI approaches to enhance the experience of students, staff, and faculty members.
Recipients of the Robert D. Lemon Award demonstrate courage, compassion and leadership while working to eliminate discrimination, oppression and injustice locally and globally.
Henry currently works as the outreach coordinator for the Gender + Equality Center at OU.
