AUDITION SEASON IS HERE!

Our on-line registration for NATIONAL UNIFIED AUDITIONS will begin at 10 AM (CST) on Wednesday, November 1, 2017.

At that time, live links will be displayed to allow you to choose your personal audition city and time and complete the on-line registration form. Audition slots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

A video pre-screen is not required prior to auditioning at Unifieds, however a completed OUMT application should be mailed by December 15, 2017.  Click on the "Audition and Apply" tab in the left navigation for complete information about our upcoming audition process and timeline.

Welcome to Weitzenhoffer School of Musical Theatre

As the only School of Musical Theatre in the country, our goal is to provide students the tools for success both on stage and off. We are recruiting the top 1% of talented high school seniors for our next freshman class. With a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) in Musical Theatre Performance, we offer conservatory-style training and a dynamic university education.

Bring your passion and grow beyond your expectations. Our self-imposed enrollment cap of 50 total majors insures individual development. Alumni are performing on Broadway, in National tours, at Regional theatres and in Europe and Asia, demonstrating that this is one of America's premiere programs.

WARREN is a Tony Award winning Director/Choreographer: most recently directed and choreographed the new Broadway musical After Midnight at the Brooks Atkinson Theater, Chaplin at the Barrymore Theater, Hugh Jackman : Back On Broadway at the Broadhurst Theater, the critically acclaimed, Tony nominated revival of Finian’s Rainbow at the St James Theater and A Tale of Two Cities at the Al Hirschfeld Theater; Choreographed the Tony Award winning revival of Hello, Dolly! (Starring Bette Midler at the Shubert Theater),She Loves Me (Studio 54), On The 20th Century (American Airlines Theater), The Mystery Of Edwin Drood, (Studio 54), A Christmas Story (Lunt Fontanne) and the Broadway revival of Stephen Sondheim’s Follies at the Marriot Marquis Theater. He directed and choreographed the 2015 New York Spring Spectacular starring the Rockettes at Radio City Music Hall.He has been nominated for two Tony Awards, seven Drama Desk Awards, for Outstanding Direction and Outstanding Choreography, and an Emmy award for Choreography. Warren is a winner of the Tony Award, two Outer Critics Circle Awards, the Drama Desk Award and the prestigious Astaire Award for choreography. Selected additional New York credits include: Directed and choreographed On Your Toes (City Center Encores!); and Cotton Club Parade (Jazz at Lincoln Center and City Center); choreographed Carousel for the New York Philharmonic, (Avery Fisher Hall); Girl Crazy, On The Town, Finian’s Rainbow, Juno and Stairway To Paradise (all Encores! at City Center); 101 Dalmatians (Madison Square Garden / U.S Tour); You Again (NY Fringe Festival); Working (Zipper Theater); Slut! (ATA); Roundabout 40th Anniversary Gala, Roundabout 50th Anniversary Gala and The 24 Hour Musicals at The Public Theater.
