Dr. Tobi Ogundiran is a multi-award winning author of the critically acclaimed short fiction collection Jackal, Jackal: Tales of the Dark and Fantastic, which was a Publisher's Weekly Top Ten Summer Read, as well as the Guardian of the Gods duology. His stories have been featured in multiple original anthologies such as Africa Risen, The Book of Witches, The Book of the Dead, as well as in several educational and Year's Best anthologies. Ogundiran's work has been taught in colleges across America and internationally. He is a recipient of the British Fantasy and Ignyte Awards and has been been a finalist for the Shirley Jackson, British Science Fiction Association and Nommo awards. He has written for the Overwatch and Magic: The Gathering universes. His work has been featured twice on the hit podcast LeVar Burton Reads.
Ogundiran is particularly interested in Comparative Mythology, Speculative Fiction with an afrocentric viewpoint, and culture specific storytelling. He has an MD from Penza State University and an MFA from the University of Mississippi.
