Dr. Baharak Sajjadi is an Assistant Professor at the Mewbourne School of Petroleum and Geological engineering, University of Oklahoma (OU). She leads the Sustainable Energy and Environment Group (SEEG) at OU. Previously, Dr. Sajjadi worked as a Research Assistant Professor at the University of Mississippi. She earned her BSc and MSc degrees in Chemical Engineering from the University of Arak, Iran, in 2008 and 2010, respectively. She then joined the University of Malaya (UM) to pursue her Ph.D. degree and completed her dissertation in Chemical Engineering under the Bright Sparks Scholarship in 2015. Dr. Sajjadi has authored or coauthored more than 50 research and technical articles. Her main field of research includes advanced refinery processes; renewable energies; carbon capture, conversion, utilization; carbon functionalization, and modification; hydrogen production; and computational fluid dynamics (CFD Simulation). Dr. Sajjadi is an editor-in-chief of the third edition of the 5-volume “Handbook of Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation”.
