NORMAN, Okla. – The University of Oklahoma announced today a collaboration with Housr to provide students with a centralized resource for exploring off-campus housing options and connecting with local businesses, services, and community resources.

The resource is intended to make it easier for students to access information about off-campus living while strengthening connections between students and the Norman community. Through the Housr platform, students can explore available housing options, discover participating businesses, and access student discounts, special offers and other community resources.

"Housing and community connections are an important part of the student experience," said David A. Surratt, Ed.D., vice president for Student Affairs and dean of students. "Our collaboration with Housr provides students with a seamless process for exploring off-campus housing and discovering businesses and services that support their success while attending the University of Oklahoma."

In addition to supporting students, the Housr platform presents housing providers and local businesses with an opportunity to share housing information, student discounts, special offers and other resources with the OU community through a centralized platform.

Participating housing providers and businesses engage directly with Housr regarding engagement opportunities and platform services.

"Partnering with the University of Oklahoma allows us to better connect students with housing options and the local business community while providing property operators and businesses with a coordinated way to reach OU students," said Harry Panter, Chief Executive Officer at Housr.
