Distinguished Speaker Series Postponed to Nov. 13
Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Price College Distinguished Speaker Event featuring Erik Logan, president of the Oprah Winfrey Network, has been postponed to November 13. The exact time of the event will be announced soon.
The Price College Fall 2015 Convocation ceremony will be at 10am Dec. 19 at the McCasland Field House. Students who plan to participate should attend Graduation Gear-Up.
Senior Associate Dean Robert Dauffenbach will be inducted into the Oklahoma Higher Education Hall of Fame in October. Congratulations to Dr. Dauffenbach and the fellow 2015 inductees!
Professor Nim Razook was recently recognized by the Academy of Legal Studies in Business with the John Bonsignore Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching. This distinguished award honors those who “demonstrate a professional commitment to the undergraduate study of law and whose teaching or research is interdisciplinary, demonstrates critical thinking skills, and reflects humanitarian concerns.” Razook is the David Ross Boyd Professor of Legal Studies and holds the Robert M. Zinke Chair in Energy Management.

After winning the Oklahoma Governor's Cup Competition in April, Price students placed second and won an additional $20K for their concept, Raw, at the Tri-State Competition in Las Vegas May 28 where they competed against the best teams from Arkansas and Nevada. Price College and the Steed School of Accounting achieved reaccreditation by AACSB International (the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business). AACSB accreditation is earned by less than five percent of the world's business programs.
