Ashley Caballero earned a master’s degree in journalism and mass communication from The University of Oklahoma and a bachelor's degree in business communication from York College. She uses her previous experience in marketing, communications, and journalism to help inform her teaching strategies.
Caballero has expertise in brand messaging and enhancing brand awareness through digital marketing campaigns, public relations efforts, SEO content, copywriting, and social media. She served as the Launch Manager for a national wedding media franchise, and as the PR and Communications Manager for a women’s clothing brand.
In the journalism industry, Caballero held positions as a broadcast news producer, as a producer for a national magazine publisher, and as a documentary producer for a true crime series on Hulu. She was also an instructor in the Gaylord College of Journalism and Mass Communication at OU, where she taught broadcast and digital storytelling techniques.
