Joe Daves has proudly served his alma mater, the University of Oklahoma, for the past 15 years in a variety of student-focused roles. He recently earned a Master of Science in Entrepreneurship and Innovation, building on his Bachelor of Arts in Sociology–Criminology from OU.
Joe began his professional career at OU as a Case Manager in the Student Conduct Office before moving to the Title IX Office as a Sexual Misconduct/Harassment Investigator. He then spent seven years as the Senior Assistant Director in the Career Center, where he worked closely with students to help them secure internships and full-time jobs. In March 2024, Joe joined the Price College of Business as Director of First Year Experience. Before returning to OU, he also worked in sales and transportation/logistics.
With extensive campus experience, Joe has developed strong, collaborative relationships with students, faculty, and staff across the university. Originally from Piedmont, Oklahoma, he now lives in Norman with his family.
The University of Oklahoma Michael F. Price College of Business has experienced significant growth over the past five years, becoming OU’s second-largest college with over 7,000 students.
