It has been an exciting first few days here at Price College as I begin my service as interim dean. The college continues its move forward through the launch of innovative new programs, increased breadth and depth of engagement at all levels, and a purposeful pursuit of impact within the university and in society. From an innovation perspective, Price College leads through cutting edge educational platforms such as OU’s first Massive Open Online Course (MOOC). Likewise, growing engagement activities such as our Executive-in-Residence program allow alumni to invest their time and talents working arm-in-arm with our students, faculty, and staff. Impact abounds at Price, as our students once again continue their historic dominance of both state and regional business competitions. Finally, the human element of Price is manifest in our multi-faceted assistance to the spring tornado recovery efforts underway in Oklahoma. As you read this issue, I think you will be impressed, honored, and moved by the impact of Price College both in and out of the classroom as, together, we move our state and nation forward.
