Michael Kopelman

Michael Kopelman is a finance and strategy executive with experience at Fortune 500 companies in media and financial services industries. He joined HBO from Time Warner Corporate, where he was Senior Vice President of Investor Relations with responsibility for developing and executing the company’s investor relations strategy. Prior to joining Time Warner, he was a Research Analyst at Merrill Lynch, where he was part of the top-ranked US Media Team.

Kopelman graduated summa cum laude from OU with a degree in economics and finance in 2000. While at OU, he was involved with a number of campus organizations including JCPenney Leadership Program, Crimson Club, Student Alumni Board and Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity. He studied abroad in Madrid, Spain and Guadalajara, Mexico and took part in the University’s first ever “Journey to China.” Kopelman received a Fulbright research grant to study economic integration in Uruguay. He went on to obtain his Chartered Financial Analyst Designation and is a member of the CFA Institute and the New York Society of Securities Analysts.
