The University of Oklahoma has set an all-time record of 90.4 percent freshman-to-sophomore retention, ranking OU as only one of 34 public institutions in the nation, along with another 45 private institutions, currently reporting retention rates of 90 percent or higher. Making the landmark achievement even more significant is that it also reflects an all-time freshman-to-sophomore retention increase of 4 percent in a single year.
