The OU-Tulsa Vision is to build a nationally-recognized center of higher education excellence in select areas that emphasize strong campus-community partnerships and leverage the unique opportunities and needs in the Tulsa region.

Plan Theme: Enduring Impact on Communities.  OU-Tulsa has articulated five strategy goals that will effectively position the institution for success in the coming years. Those goals include:

• Strengthen Marketing and Public Relations Efforts.
• Increase the Research Enterprise and Externally Sponsored Programs.
• Expand Academic Programs and Course Offerings.
• Foster a Diverse, Supportive, and Inclusive Campus Culture.

The OU-Tulsa Information Security Program will support the OU-Tulsa Vision and Strategic Plan through the following goals:

• Provide security services that enable the availability, confidentiality and integrity of OU-Tulsa information resources and services.
• Grow relationships required to sustain the necessary protection of OU-Tulsa information resources and customers.
• Balance OU-Tulsa mission with proactive and cost-effective measures to enable regulatory compliance.
• Nurture an OU-Tulsa Information Security Program that provides collaborative security awareness internally and within the Tulsa community.
