The New Sooner Enrollment Program with University College and the OU Scholars Program is a half-day session designed for new students at the University of Oklahoma. The program provides you with the information you need to get started on your academic path.

Begin the Process

Review the necessary steps to enroll in your first semester at OU These steps include completing the New Sooner Survey, completing required online training, sending in your transcripts and reviewing placement test guidelines.

Each enrollment day is divided into identical morning and afternoon sessions, which include information, advising and enrollment sessions.

New Sooner Enrollment Program

The New Sooner Enrollment Program with University College and the OU Scholars Program is a  half-day program designed for new students at the University of Oklahoma. The program provides you with the information you need to get started on your academic path.

There is a fee of $75 for all students attending the New Sooner Enrollment Program.

Freshmen: The $75 is included in the $250 Enrollment Commitment. Students are required to submit their Enrollment Commitment, or apply and be approved for a deferred payment, before scheduling an NSEP appointment. It may take up to 24 hours after submitting your payment before the system will allow students to schedule an enrollment appointment. Access Enrollment Commitment information here.

Transfer Students: You will owe the $75 program fee on your enrollment day.
