OU-NORMAN Urgent 12:35 PM: OU Norman campus online classes and remote work will continue through all day 2-1-23.

OU-NORMAN Urgent 12:35 PM: Due to inclement weather and in an abundance of caution, the OU-Norman campus will continue online classes and encourages remote work where possible on Wednesday, Feb. 1. Employees and students are encouraged to prepare for the possibility of continued remote work and online classes Thursday, if necessary.

Subject to supervisor discretion, employees able to work remotely should. Essential employees should remain on or report to campus and follow their current schedules. Please check with your supervisor if you are unsure of your work schedule. If remote work is not appropriate for the position, nonessential employees will receive administrative leave. Supervisors and instructors are encouraged to show flexibility with employees and students as appropriate. Weather is not expected to impact internet connectivity and power. OU Online students will continue regularly scheduled instruction.

CAMPUS DINING HOURS

Tuesday, Jan. 31 & Wednesday, Feb. 1

Dining Halls:
Couch Restaurants, Residential Colleges' Dining Hall and Wagner Dining Hall will remain open regular hours.

Cross Village Restaurants:
All Cross Village restaurants will remain open regular hours.
 

Residential-Area Restaurants:
Xcetera: 7 a.m. - 10 p.m.


All other restaurants will be closed.



HOUSING UPDATES

For the safety of our staff, SafeWalk will not be available through Wednesday, Feb. 1.

All incoming first-year students are guaranteed an on-campus housing experience, and after your first year, there’s no need to leave campus. We have multiple housing options, ranging from suites to apartments, for our upperclass students to choose from.

Don’t forget about adding one of our meal plans to get the most out of your campus experience. With over 20 on-campus restaurants, including the world’s only all-you-can-eat Chick-fil-A in Couch Restaurants, you’re never far from your next snack or latte.

The 2023-2024 upperclass housing applications are open!

After your first year, there’s no need to leave campus! We have multiple housing options for our upperclass students to choose from: Traditions Square Apartments, the Residential Colleges or the Residence Halls. All bills and utilities are included, and rent can be charged directly to the Bursar.

Apartments and suites are fully furnished, have complimentary Internet and 24-hour maintenance. All three properties are within walking and biking distance of campus.


Important:
Students will need to decide between completing an application for:
• Traditions Square Apartments
• Residential Colleges/Residence Halls

Room selection timeslots are based on application completion date.

Current Traditions Square residents will have the opportunity to sign up for their same room.
