PTAs serve as peer mentors both inside and outside of the classroom for Foundations courses. They assist students in a successful transition to OU by serving as peer mentors, modeling positive academic habits, helping first-year students become acclimated to OU's campus and resources, and various other aspects aimed at helping students create success. Students can apply for this position from December 1st through March 1st on OU Engage.
SI Leaders at the Student Learning Center provide academic support for a specific course at OU to help students better understand course concepts through collaborative, peer-led sessions. SI Leaders attend class lectures, promote sessions, and must have previously earned an A in the course at OU.
