OU Health Campus is home to seven professional health colleges and over 70 academic programs at the undergraduate, graduate, and post-doctoral levels. Programs are available at campuses in Oklahoma City and Tulsa, as well as additional sites across the state, to meet the health care needs in Oklahoma. Students interested in an OU Health Campus bachelor’s program will start their academic journey at the Norman campus and move to the Health Campus (OUHC), OU-Tulsa Campus, or an additional learning site after meeting admission qualifications to the program of interest OR their program of application.

The College of Allied Health serves as the academic unit for 21 programs, including audiology, communication sciences and disorders, dietetics, nuclear medicine, nutritional sciences, occupational therapy, physical therapy, radiation sciences, radiation therapy, radiography, rehabilitation sciences, sonography, and speech-language pathology. Our college’s pass rate for professional entry boards/licensure examinations in the 10 professional-entry programs is over 95%.
The College of Dentistry has Oklahoma’s only Doctor of Dental Surgery program located in Oklahoma City and an option to complete the final two years in Tulsa, as well as its only Bachelor of Dental Hygiene program, with availability in Oklahoma City, Weatherford, Bartlesville, and Ardmore. Our college will teach you how to successfully blend science, human relations, and technical skills into your profession, and we are prepared to provide you with a dental education second to none.
The Fran and Earl Ziegler College of Nursing was founded in 1911 and is the state’s largest and oldest nursing program. We are dedicated to continuing the leadership and academic excellence that have become synonymous with the University of Oklahoma. The college is home to five nursing degree programs with sites in Oklahoma City, Duncan, Lawton, Tulsa, and Norman.
The College of Medicine is home to our Physician Associate (PA) program and the only Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) program in the state, offering both programs in Tulsa and Oklahoma City. We have a vibrant medical school, which is critical for Oklahoma’s continuing development and success in medical education, biomedical research, and health care. Our campus also includes Oklahoma’s only Level 1 trauma center, National Cancer Institute (NCI)-Designated Cancer Center, and children’s hospital.
At the OU College of Pharmacy, students explore a variety of career paths from direct patient care to cutting-edge pharmaceutical research, and they can experience unique opportunities like our fully operational onsite nuclear pharmacy and the Oklahoma Poison Center, where toxicology pharmacists advise both patients and healthcare professionals. With a strong foundation in clinical and scientific education, OU COP prepares future pharmacists to make a real, lasting impact in the lives of others.
The Hudson College of Public Health is one of only 50 accredited public health schools in the United States, and the only one in Oklahoma. Our active research program spans five research centers with major initiatives related to American Indian health and biosecurity research.
