Many of our academic colleges offer additional information sessions, which provide a more in-depth look at specific programs of interest. These are a great opportunity to tour major-specific facilities and meet staff and faculty members from your intended academic college. Academic programs are offering many virtual and on-campus options — explore availabe sessions below and schedule your session today! 

Architecture
Architecture

Located in Gould Hall, OU’s Christopher C. Gibbs College of Architecture maintains an international reputation by offering students access to the latest digital technology. Tours will learn about the college’s library, the computer and BIM-VIZ labs, and the model shop where students transform their ideas into tangible designs with the 3D and modeling capabilities available to them.

Arts & Sciences
Arts & Sciences

Explore the broad range of majors offered by the College of Arts and Sciences. Aviation
Aviation

Take off on an exciting tour of the Department of Aviation. Tours will be able to check out our fleet of single- and multi-engine aircraft, our advanced aircraft simulators, and our air traffic control tower.

Please note: At this time, the School of Aviation is not accepting transfer applicants for the Professional Pilot or Aviation Management - Flying majors for 2021. Transfer students looking to enter in 2021 are still welcome to apply for the Aviation Management - Non-Flying and Air Traffic Management programs.

Business
Business

OU’s Price College of Business is ranked among the top 50 business schools in the nation by U.S. News & World Report. While touring, visitors will learn about Price’s highly ranked undergraduate and graduate programs in addition to the college’s various economic development programs that engage faculty, students, and alumni to grow and diversify Oklahoma’s economy.

Education
Education

The Jeannine Rainbolt College of Education trains some of the finest teachers in Oklahoma. The college has been given the accolade of being an Apple Distinguished Program, and tours will learn about the college’s resources for future educators.

Engineering
Engineering

The Gallogly College of Engineering produces leaders who work to solve complex challenges around the globe through creative innovation to create better lives for current and future generations. Tours will experience the collaborative learning environment of Devon Energy Hall and observe spaces and labs where students learn and conduct research.

Petroleum Engineering
Petroleum Engineering

The Mewbourne School of Petroleum and Geological Engineering has a rich tradition of excellence in delivering students a petroleum engineering education that is among the best in the nation. Tours will explore Sarkeys Energy Center, which is home to two levels of laboratories and the Laurence S. Youngblood Energy Library.

Honors College

The Honors College at the University of Oklahoma offers a supportive community and an academically rigorous challenge for intellectually motivated undergraduate students. Tours will visit David L. Boren Hall and learn about the requirements for graduating with honors from OU. On campus appointments may be available by request by emailing your admissions counselor

Pre-Health
Pre-Health

OU pre-health students have access to an internationally prominent faculty and state-of-the-art facilities and technology. Representatives from the OU Health Sciences Center host virtual info sessions twice a month to connect with students and answer questions about their degrees. You can also visit the HSC campus in Oklahoma City.

Performing Arts
Performing Arts

OU performing arts students study in a program consistently ranked among the best in the nation. Tours will visit the Donald W. Reynolds Performing Arts Center, built in 1918 as part of OU’s original campus. The building completed a multimillion dollar renovation in 2005 that features a new dance wing and revamped practice rooms.
