GIS Day 2022

Mariela with her poster
Plant Biology Masters Student, Mariela EncarnaciĆ³n, presented her research poster: From Leaves to Canopy: The Effects of Experimenta Drought on Spectra, at the OU Center for Spatial Analysis' GIS day 2022. Her poster was awarded 1st place in the Graduate Poster Competition. Congratulations Mariela, we are so proud of you!

Plant Biology Masters Student Zoe Wall presented her research poster on Native and Exotic Plant Trait Variation across a Climatic Gradient in Oklahoma at OU Center for Spatial Analysis' GIS 2022 day. Congratulations Zoe, we are so proud of you!

Abby (right) and Yujin (left) facilitated the Oklahoma Biological Survey booth at the 2022 GIS Day. They demonstrated how to use the MultispeQ to measure chlorophyll in leaves found outside the Memorial Union. Other field equipment used in the field were displayed at the table as well.
