Undergraduate students Caren Ho and Mayme McClure from professor Nicole Campbell’s sleep intervention research team won second place in the Social, Political and Geographical Sciences session of the Undergraduate Research Day for their presentation titled “Sleep Sooner: The Impact of a Student Sleep Intervention on Behavioral Intentions”
Doctoral candidate in applied social and developmental psychology, Mike Doerge, was recently the recipient of both the Graduate Student Senate Graduate Teaching Award and the Provost's Outstanding GTA Award
Congratulations to to doctoral candidate in quantitative psychology, Catherine Bain who was recently awarded the dissertation completion fellowship from the Dodge Family College of Arts and Sciences. This award will provide her with funding equivalent to a semester’s pay to enable her to devote additional time to her dissertation in her final phase of your graduate education.
Congratulations to doctoral candidate in industrial and organizational psychology, Joe Stewart, who was recently awarded the Dodge Family College of Arts and Sciences Dissertation Research Fellowships. This awards up to $5,000 which can be used to support travel and accommodation expenses to conduct research, and purchases of data sets, software and other materials to facilitate research outcomes.
Congratulations to associate professor Lauren Ethridge who was recently awarded the Vice President for Research and Partnerships Award for Excellence in Research in the Social Sciences. This award recognizes an OU faculty member (faculty of all ranks including faculty emeriti) who has made exceptional, innovative contributions to a social science field throughout their career and/or in their recent work. The Social Sciences award is based on outstanding publications with pioneering research impacts that offer broad societal and community-oriented applications for the common good.
